The evolution of human beings has been a long story, not just in the past but also from now on especially when we are talking about humankind's progress in different fields. It is believed that humankind, as a species, started developing from one form to another and it would probably be several thousand years of continuous development before man came into being. Over time, mankind has gone through many changes which changed our way of thinking, our perception and even our culture for example. So let us take a look at some of these changes.

According to Aristotle and Plato, there are four kinds of things that humans can do. First place belongs to people who are able to learn how to think logically. They can reason on what they perceive as right and wrong. Second place belong to those whose physical features help them to comprehend their environment. These include those with hands and feet but they need brains and this is something we all possess as an asset. Third place belongs to those who have been blessed with natural talents such as singing, dancing, or playing music, but this is not necessarily required as you may think. Fourth place requires some kind of education. This includes knowledge of things that cannot be acquired by anybody but only those who have achieved success will obtain this knowledge. All in all these four places do exist among us, but it is up to the individual to determine and choose where he/she wants to take his journey in life. Most times, however, individuals will be drawn to other forms of existence like worshiping or following certain religions.

Nowadays, technology is widely used. Many things can be done using machines and devices that were invented over decades ago. From today's world, almost everything is done using technology. A machine comes into use when there is a requirement to do so. There are also robots that were created over ten decades ago and now many modern-day robots are being formed because of its popularity. However, not everyone is comfortable and finds this technology useful. Some feel that this device only works for scientists and not others. Now, there are many types of robotics that have been developed over decades but most of them focus on military applications for protecting soldiers from enemy, preventing disasters, carrying out various tasks, assisting doctors, working as drivers of vehicles etc. Due to advancements in robotic technology, there are more benefits of creating robots due to increased efficiency. Thus, the number of applications for these robots has also grown manifold. In addition, there are many companies and organizations today that provide services for robotic work too. For instance, the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) uses the robot COTOPUS while NASA uses Pepper after-effects robot, both under DOD procurement programs. Other than scientific or industrial applications, they can be found in medical applications too like diagnosing diseases and helping patients recover. Moreover, researchers are experimenting on new ways to create artificial organs using 3D printers, which could enable the creation of better organs and tissues for transplantation. Hence, there have been numerous developments in technology in recent years. One thing is certain; technology is changing the modern world at a fast pace as there are many applications of this modern technology available today. One can confidently say that humanity, especially because of the advancement in medical technology for disease treatment, has become well-rounded and evolved into a more sophisticated and holistic person who can achieve anything he/she desires. Therefore, humankind should learn and embrace technology so that they can get to know and understand the real essence of this advancement. Even though some are afraid to embrace technological growth, they should realize the positive impacts these technologies have upon society and learn how to get benefits from such advancement. With this awareness of the current status of technology, all of us need to develop an interest for it. No matter whether you are a student majoring in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Programming, Biology, Law, Sociology, Psychology, Humanities, Biomedical Sciences, Physics/Astrophysics, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Ecology, Geography, Agriculture, Finance and Marketing etc. you can still benefit and learn from the present technological innovations and progress and make your contribution towards these advancements. Afterall, any technology advances faster by increasing the supply and demand of the products and services it creates and therefore if we use it wisely then surely it would improve the quality of life for all on Earth. If we don't adapt and try to advance at a rapid speed we would end up making mistakes because of poor management of resources and misuse of technology. Consequently, we are living in a very complex world today and it would be difficult for everybody to cope today unless everyone learns how to evolve and become skilled and wise in adopting the latest trends and new inventions. Although we face plenty of issues in our daily lives, it is extremely important that each and every person tries to stay updated on the current technological changes and improvements as they are crucial for the future sustainability of the earth.
